Kjer Theatre | Eau Claire, WI

Kjer Theatre

Yes, you read that correctly… a haunting presence right on our very own campus! Janitors who have worked there late at night said they have seen Earl Kjer sitting in his favorite seat and vanishing within seconds. If you are watching a show and someone seems to be meddling with the lights and curtain, it could very well be Earl trying to assist with the production. Good thing we now have Pablo Center at the Confluence!

Devil’s Punchbowl | Menomonie, WI

As if the name of this place wasn’t frightening enough…visitors who have come to enjoy the nature have reported seeing shadowy apparitions and hearing inexplicable sounds within the bushes.

Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts | Menomonie, WI

Stones Throw | Eau Claire, WI

You may be greeted by a ghostly presence when you venture to downtown Eau Claire. An employee supposedly saw an entity stand up from the table, put on his jacket, and walk out from the building. DUN, DUN, DUN!

The Ritz Tavern | Chippewa Falls

The Ritz Tavern

The owner of this building and her father have both seen questionable figures throughout the building in the year in which they purchased the property. Although there haven’t been many sightings since then, there have been abnormal occurrences like doors that lock on their own and objects being inexplicably moved to different places.

Caryville Road | Caryville, WI

Many unfortunate events have taken place in the history of this town which lead people to believe that the sightings of a ghostly young boy, phantom cars and dogs, a hitchhiker, and a haunted cemetery are not figments of their imagination.

Elk Lake Dam |Dunn County

This remote dam out in Dunn County has several witnesses talking about paranormal activity. People have reported seeing a ghost of a young woman roaming around the woods.

Hopefully we didn’t scare you too bad and you can still sleep soundly at night.
