#1 Go to ALL the Blugold Welcome Week events

You could meet your best friend while you’re trying to hide your heavy breathing as you both run #TheHill. Maybe you’ll find your squad while doing the Soldier Boy at the Davies Party. You never know who you will meet when you leave your dorm room.

Hit up that Davies Party and dance like no one is watching.

#2 Leave your door open in your residence hall

This is especially effective during Move-In Day. An open door means that you’re welcoming people on your floor to pop in, introduce themselves, and say hello. Then… round 2… invite them to get dinner with you at Hilltop.

If Joey can do it, you can do it.

#3 Group Date at the Caf!

Grab all your new pals and hit Hilltop. The best bonding happens over food. That’s a fact. Simple as that.

#5 Join an organization

Blu’s Organization Bash. Wednesday, September 11. 11AM-2PM. You heard it here first. It’s the place to be. You’ll find meaningful friendships with people who have the same interests and passions as you when you join an organization on campus.
